Testing and inspection of Lift Operations

LOLER stands for Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (1998). These regulations aim to reduce risks to people's health and safety from using lifting equipment. It is essential to get lifting equipment tested and certified to ensure all has been done to make sure the equipment is safe and fit for use. These tests prove that lifting equipment can perform to the required standard following the manufacturer's guidance.

What happens on a LOLER inspection?

During your LOLER inspection, Tekcal will ensure that the equipment is installed correctly to minimise risks. We will also assure that the equipment is safe for its task and is marked correctly to indicate safe working loads, and we will confirm it is being used safely by competent people.

Why get a LOLER Inspection

You will need to have a LOLER inspection upon using any new lifting equipment before use and then every six months as part of periodic lifting equipment test.
