Terms and Conditions

Requirements
If you have any specific requirements, please detail these on your purchase order or speak to the on-site engineer at the time of the calibration visit. Otherwise, we'll perform the most appropriate calibration procedure available.

Purchase Order
We may delay starting work if we do not receive a written Purchase Order referencing any Quote number we've provided. No calibrated items or certificates will be released without a valid PO or receipt of payment.

Reference Specifications
We select tolerances from the appropriate British Standards or the unit's manufacturer's specifications. If you have any specific requirements, please let us know in advance.

Calibration Uncertainty
Uncertainties of measurement have been assessed to approximately 95% Confidence of Probability by multiplying a standard uncertainty by a coverage factor k = 2. Where individual line uncertainties are reported on the certificate, Readability and repeatability of the Unit Under Test is included in the calculation.

Recalibration Dates on Stickers
We will include a calibration date and a due date on the calibration sticker. Unless otherwise specified this will be for 6 or 12 months for all items depending on the item tested, if you need a non-standard recalibration interval, please tell us in advance.

Paperless Certificates
We issue PDF calibration certificates through our Online Certificate Portal. You can search, view or download your entire certificate history, and your certificates will be available for as long as you require them. We don’t issue hardcopy certificates as standard, but if you need a paper copy let us know beforehand.
